I just learned about another variation of “phone” and “cell phone” scams. This type of scam is fairly ties to the types of scam that I posted about before. In this new type of scam the victim is tricked into changing their phone or cell phone provider. The scam company offers very cheap prices to the scam victim to get them to switch. Once the scam victim switches their phone or cell phone provider the new scam company increases the rates without notice. I am now shock of all the different types of scams going on out there. That is why I want to keep you informed. Knowing about how these scams operate is the best prevention since then you can clearly identify a scam.
